Stockbridge Gardens Open Weekend 2012

Saturday and Sunday July 28th and 29th
 from 1.30.- 5.30pm each day

Tickets (actually programmes with garden details and map), will be available from St Peter's Church in the centre of the village, and are priced at £5 for adults and £1 for children under 16yrs.

Parking can often be a problem in Stockbridge but we have again arranged  special free off-street parking for those visiting this event in Jennie’s “Stares Off Road Parking”. Turn off the High Street next to Thyme and Tides.

We will have ten or eleven gardens open for viewing all in the eastern end of the village. There will be small cottage gardens, large landscaped gardens, gardens managed to attract wildlife, gardens with lovely water features and views of streams and water meadows and, in addition to these, the Primary School is kindly allowing visitors to see the children's vegetable and flower gardens and the village allotments will also be open for viewing.

And back on the church lawn you will be able to relax and enjoy a wonderful cream tea and listen to the Amesbury Town Band who will be entertaining us again on both afternoons.

There will also be local plant stalls at the church.
